The Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Development Board of McKenzie, TN Banquet in 2024 was a huge success! The event was held at Bethel University, and we were grateful for the support of our sponsors: Carroll Bank & Trust, Centennial Bank, Cachengo, Hometown Health Clinic, and Allegion/Republic Door. Special thanks to McKenzie City Florist & More, LLC for the stunning flowers, and MMI at Bethel University for catering the delicious food. We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who attended the event. It was a wonderful evening, and we are already looking forward to next year's banquet.

Attendees totaled 160 last year, and the Chamber Board hopes that number will double this year. Everyone was encouraged to attend the event, so both Chamber members and non-members were present. The banquet consisted of a meal catered by Miss D’s Kitchen, a speaker, and an awards ceremony. Chamber Chairman, Josh Crawford, addressed the crowd with an overview of the Chamber’s events since its opening in January 2021 and a vision for the future.
As this was the first banquet, the Board felt it necessary to award every member a Charter Member plaque for their investment and faith in the institution. This year, the Board hopes to have a nomination process in place where members vote on businesses that meet certain criteria for specific awards. These awards will be geared toward the needs unique to the community.
